    The little rotating ying-yang symbol has disappeared. How can I get it back. Pls reply to [email protected] and not the gmail address.

    Are you sure that you still have the status bar switched on?
    If you're not now seeing the downloading progress bar right at the bottom of the window either, that's probably the problem.
    Right click on the toolbar and make sure that 'Status Bar' is ticked.
