  • alpine funny problem: error 250 reset ok on send

    Hi

    I have a funny problem after compiling and installing alpine 2.24 on my debian box. it's funny because the previous 2.21 version now exhibits it too, so I don't think it's version related.

    When composing a new message and sending it, it fails, with a "error 250 Reset OK" error message.

    If I reply to someone, it sends the email OK, without problem. So I am figuring out if it is something added to the email when I create one from scratch...

    Any ideas on how to figure this out?

    added fact:

    if I reply, delete the subject and write a new subject line, this error reappears.

    the weirdest of things, the problem is having this in my signature

    domain.xyz


    the something.xyz is doing it. deleting or changing that line in my sig solves the problem!

    weird...
