  • console app freez in windows 11

    Hi to all

    I saw with my own eyes one of my programs freeze on several Windows 11 PCs
    If user launches another cmd prompt and then relaunch another time the
    same program it works.

    version xHarbour 1.3.1 Intl. (SimpLex) (Build 20240625)

    any hints?

    Can you try using an older xHarbour build? Just to exclude some of the
    recent changes.

    Hi,
    In Console Window properties: Options: Edit Options:
    disable ‘Quick Edit Mode’ and also ‘Insert Mode’.
    This should help. I run into the same behaviour by default of Win 11.
