This is a reflection of the news://comp.lang.xharbour. We created it
but I don't believe there is an "ownership'. We should find out how to
report it. Maybe if we each MARK it as SPAM then Google AI will learn
and block it.
Ok, I will do it, thank you.

Done, only few spam messages remained. The other are vanished. Somebody
has deleted them?
I keep reporting all SPAM I encounter - so it might take effect for others too.

Yes, don't use G00glegroups. That's just a crutch. Any decent newsreader
has filters. I have no problem here.
You cannot delete it. This is a USENET newsgroup, hosted by Google
Groups but also other news servers.
I am busy reporting it. When reported, it stops being returned on
internet searches, and the piles of sh!t that dump their refuse like
this fail to thrive. Anyone can help.

I'm using Thunderbird without filters.

It is getting worst day after day!
I marked as SPAM 5 full pages of messages while using MS edge
as browser for this newsgroup.
Don't know what else we can do.
Is there a way to hide the reported posts from Google Groups?I believe it kind of automatically does. - but not completely.

Is there a way to hide the reported posts from Google Groups? Not reliably. Google Groups seems to keep a list of "1000" or so most recent reports you have made, and automagically suppresses those with the hidden-due-to-reported banner. But with the recent floods in three newsgroups I monitor, reported threads in
I dislike installing dedicated email clients or newsreaders, but that is the only way to make sure such dross stays gone. USENET retains such sh!t forever. Paid for by tax dollars, ultimately.

Has anyone found a solution to hide this spam?
Has anyone found a solution to hide this spam?Get a formal newsreader or email client (eg. Thunderbird). They will get USENET feeds from dedicated servers, and the spam will not be visible. Google Groups are the bastards that let this spam be added, and consequently, they do not auto-hide even
