  • Announce: Img 2.0.0 released

    Dear Tcl/Tk community.

    The new major version 2.0.0 of Img is ready.

    The major changes compared to the 1.4 version are:
    - Support for image metadata as introduced with Tk 8.7 and 9.0.
    - Image subcommand "data" now returns binary strings as does Tk.
    - Extended and corrected test suites and documentation.
    - Lots of security and stability fixes.

    Get the source code release as single file from https://sourceforge.net/projects/tkimg/files/tkimg/2.0/tkimg%202.0.0

    Provide feedback either via the SourceForge ticket system or via mail.

    Paul, will there be a download for 2.0.1?
    I noticed the announcememt for 2.0.1 on c.l.t. some days ago,
    but the current download link still points to 2.0.0.
