Version 2.0.0 (Beta) of the Magicsplat Tcl/Tk 9.0b2 for Windows binary distribution is released.
This is the first Magicsplat distribution supporting Tcl 9 and includes
a limited number of packages that have been ported to Tcl 9.

Forgot to mention. If installing alongside an existing Tcl 8
distribution, please read the above link (in particular, only one installation should be in the PATH environment)

Not completely related but an interesting question:
does the bytecode change between 8.x versions and the 9? Or even
between 32-bit vs. 64-bit Tcl builds?
