From Helmut Giese@21:1/5 to All on Sat Oct 14 22:15:24 2023
    Hello out there,
    somehow the above file disappeared.
I downloaded the latest magigsplat version but it didn't contain any
    .chm file.
Any help in obtaining a documentation for twapi is greatly
    appreciated:
    - I largely prefer local HTML files because with them I can have as
many tabs open at the same time as I need.
    - Second best is a CHM file while
    - HTML files on the NET are a distant third: Over time they are
downloaded again and again thousands of times, thereby wasting
    bandwidth and energy.

    TIA
    Helmut

You likely want the interactive companion to magicsplat at:

    https://www.magicsplat.com/tcl-docs/docindex.html

I used to use the .chm file, but now use this site exclusively.

    The last chm is here:

    https://sourceforge.net/projects/magicsplat/files/tcl-docs/

    Hello et99,
    The last chm is here:

    https://sourceforge.net/projects/magicsplat/files/tcl-docs/
this is the link I was looking for. Many thanks
    Helmut
PS: Maybe I can convince Ashok that providing a .chm file along is a
    good idea.

I already tried. Ashok is doing so many great things...

    Take care,
    Harald

The chm technology is some 25 years old and MS does not update it. I was
having intermittent problems with the Help compiler crashing. It wasn't
a size issue as just adding or removing a bit of text and index entries
would fix the crash. I just got fed up.

Thanks for all the work. I still have your old chm file on the desktop
and I use it on travel, when there is no online connection.
And we all understand that you gave up.

Maybe, we may also remove it from the nmake target of TCL and Tk
    (htmlhelp) for TCL 9?

    Thanks for all,
    Harald
