    In your news client software you must enable mandatory authentication
    upon connect. Eternal September will not list the newsgroups unless your
    client authenticates first. Instructions are linked below.

    If you fail to do this, you will not see the newsgroups on ES. Eternal September also explains this. Eternal September gives detailed
