    hi all,

    as mentioned elsewhere i'm trying to get jniport running with d7.
    after eliminating some un-needed code i was able to do a successful deploy. however, when i open the app i get a walkback saying "JavaVMOption class dnu fromAddress: length:". this is true but raises a couple of questions: 1) i can run the same code in a workspace with no errors. is the same code not being executed? 2) i can't find any method definitions fromAddress: length: in smalltalk or any of the jniport packages. where is that "method" invocation coming from? i also defined a class method fromAddress: length: in JavaVMOption, but it does not get called.

    any help/insights would be greatly appreciated.

    hi bruno,

    rather than package my whole app, i wrote a quick driver class and got the test app to deploy and run. still had some problems but so far they seem to be jvm config or deploy wizard settings.

    given that i now know i can do a successful deploy, i'll attack my actual application.
