  • raincode compiler NOT GENERATING ERROR MESSAGES in visual studio 1022

    I installed raincode cobol in visual studio 2022 and ran a compile.

    To test the compiler, I misspelled 5 key words, the raincode compiler

    generated NO ERROR MESSAGES!!!

    GNU COMPILER GENERATED MANY!!!

    ANY SUGGESTIONS ANYONE?

    I suggest researching how the '85 Standard permitted mixed case.

    After that... post your code, your compiler settings and your output; if
    others can duplicate your results they may be able to assist.
