  • What happened to "Drop a Pin" in Google Maps > Timeline > Add place

    You used to be able to drop a pin and give it a name.

    I was using this all the time for places that I wanted to record, that
    don't have a name on maps (like "Park Bench" or "View of blah-blah").

    A couple of weeks ago this functionality completely disappeared.

    This is a mini-disaster for me!

    What happened to it?
