For a while I couldn't send (although I could receive) from any of my
gmail accounts using Thunderbird 38. Now I can send with ONE of them,
but not the others. Several days ago two addresses couldn't send. TB
allows different smtp servers, but it's not clear how you select which
one. Two weeks ago it "just worked" no matter which account I used.

And google earth doesn't work -- I hadn't realized it required a login
of some sort, but I guess it does.

I'll think about this tomorrow at Tara...
