I just found this project today. It looks like the maintainer has resumed work on the project as of a few days ago and is currently working on porting this to a better/different set of libraries. I've been doing a little poking around in the source to try and get it building on Fedora. It looks like there's currently
a small bug in there preventing it from compiling. I removed the offending code and could successfully build a partially working version. It loaded a window and
rendered a 404 page (because of removed broken gopherproxy bits). This is very encouraging and I look forward to having a working build soon.
On a side note,
https://github.com/prologic/gopherproxy by itself works well as an http proxy for other browsers. I'm currently using it via Firefox.

Hi, this project looks amazing, I've checked out the Github, and from
the information that's been provided via the README, it seems that
currently, the whole thing only builds on macOS, is that correct?
I'm running Linux (Ubuntu) here and it mentions that compiling it
will fail on this. Have there been any news regarding this so far?
I really like the concept of a modern client with tabs and bookmarks!
Hope this will get updates :)

I don't yet have binaries for any platforms; so please build this from
source using Go (#golang) and the QT toolkit. On OS X with Homebrew this is
pretty easy:
$ brew install go qt
$ go install github.com/prologic/gopherclient
Please be aware that if you are using Go 1.6+ you'll need to run with:
GODEBUG=cgocheck=0 ./gopherclient
See https://github.com/go-qml/qml/issues/170 and
https://github.com/go-qml/qml/issues/179 (Sorry!) "
