  • Tool menu boxes

    Hi there!

    Having used GIMP since years a new problem occurred, now. I played around
    with it to adopt the visible elements to my new requirement. This was successful but it spoiled the appearence of the displayed elements:

    The main window is ok but the tool selection, and the tool mode of function windows reach farther down than my screen can display. I'd like to be
    master of the appearance of the displayed elements, again.

    But how? Is there a menu item I didn't find? Can something be streamlined
    in the configuration file ...\GIMP\etc\gimp\2.0\gimprc?

    In case somebody in Germany might have an answer: Antworte mir bitte auf deutsch.

    Or in France: Tu peut répondre en français si tu veut.

    Or in Turkey: Cevap ver türkçe dilinde istersen.

    Or in Spain/Argentina/...: Dáme tu solución en español si quieras.

    You might try the gimp team at irc GIMPnet.

    Be prepared to wait for an answer... may take hours up to a day, but I
    doubt it will take that long. irc gimp-users is also watched, but not as heavily. There is good help there (gimp and gimp-users), but they don't
    like flames, and will boot a person if the person gets 'nasty.'
