When ever I click the check box "CRT controls" at the bottom the display

There is also no way but to restart VICE to get it back to normal.
It doesn't matter whether I use full screen or windowed. OS is Debian
Linux with the most recent VICE version. No errors or other on the text
console where I started x64.
Anyone has the same problem in Linux?
No problems on Mint 17.3 Mate here.
Here's my screen with CRT controls:

Could be a problem with your video driver maybe?
That's quite possible. As I mentioned in another article concerning the
size of the display. It's possible that VICE switches to from Xrandr to
VidMode to show the controls. It looks a lot like that.\
Anyway, I rarely use the controls, so no big deal. But I thought somebody
might have had the same problem already and knows a solution.
Thanks.
