The last questio: is the switching time differ if i remove card

The protection switch normally takes place in the cross-connect
of the system. If the cross-connect is on the same card as the
interface, removing the card will be regarded as node failure
and protection swich takes place in the adjacent node.
Note that the protection switch time is not always easy to measure
becuase the detection time for the defect that causes the switch
is not included.
So if the system is slow in detecting the defect the measured
switch time may be longer, because in general you measure the
detection time + switching time.
