  • db2iauto on Ubuntu 16.04

    Hi,

    I'm in the process of moving stuff from Ubuntu 14.04 to 16.04. One thing that doesn't work on 16.04 is db2iauto -on <instName>

    Seems to be due to inittab not being used any more in Ubuntu 16.04...

    I am using DB2 EXPC 10.5

    How do I get my instance to autostart after reboot on Ubuntu 16.04?

    Answering my own question:
    I finally found something that works: http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21964393

    This also applies to Ubuntu 16.04 and so far it seems to perfectly work
