  • migrate from 8.4 to 9.6.2

    Hi, can anyone tell me the best way to migrate a database from win2003 8.4 verion of postgre to win2012 9.6.2 verion of postgre? I'm using pg_restore but some tables aren't restored on the new version of the server.

    You can always use pg_dumpall. Plus see https://www.postgresql.org/docs/9.6/static/upgrading.html
