Trump: Chicago is a ‘killing field’

Lies, bullshit, demented ramblings during a North Korea style press conference.

Endlessly talking talking talking talking. And this is only part of the video available. Talked about gold (including the World Cup trophy sitting in the Oval Office), went on about people leaving garage doors and car trunks open so crooks won't damage them by breaking in, talking about the President of Europe, covering up his hand bruise and cankles, claiming he stopped 30-years wars, yammering about saving LA and getting them water.

He's an imbecile, he talks like an old psychotic bastard.

And then Hegseth talking like he's just snorted a line.

    Epstein!

So your solution to the killings is to compare them to other cities and
say they are not as bad per hundred thousand?? I used to live in the
Chicago area decades ago, and drove with a hatchet on the front seat
when going to work due to the threat of a mob attacking my car at a stop
light. Chicago was a hell hole then, and it is worse now!!

After I moved from the area and would return to visit friends and
relatives, I carried a gun in the front of the car, not a hatchet. I questioned if I should do that, so I stopped at a local police station
and asked their advice about the gun. I was told, "Better to be judged
by 12 than be carried by 6."

My daughter and grandson went to Chicago a year or so a ago.
They had a great time. Chicago has so many great things to see
and visit. Same as Washington DC, New York, L.A., ....

There are bad areas, sure. You likely won't see Trump's would-be
goons going to those areas. Much easier to make traffic stops,
question dudes smoking whatever on their porches, and
lounge around waiting for ... whatever.

Chicago isn't even in the top 10 for crime. It's numbers are due

enough fodder for his incremental creep to martial law.

    --
Some 1500 miles west of the Big Apple we find the Minneapple, a
haven of tranquility in troubled times. It's a good town, a civilized town.
A town where they still know how to get your shirts back by Thursday. Let
the Big Apple have the feats of "Broadway Joe" Namath. We have known the stolid but steady Killebrew. Listening to Cole Porter over a dry martini
may well suit those unlucky enough never to have heard the Whoopee John Polka Band and never to have shared a pitcher of 3.2 Grain Belt Beer. The loss is theirs. And the Big Apple has yet to bake the bagel that can match peanut butter on lefse. Here is a town where the major urban problem is dutch elm disease and the number one crime is overtime parking. We boast more theater per capita than the Big Apple. We go to see, not to be seen. We go even
when we must shovel ten inches of snow from the driveway to get there. Indeed the winters are fierce. But then comes the marvel of the Minneapple summer. People flock to the city's lakes to frolic and rejoice at the sight of so
much happy humanity free from the bonds of the traditional down-filled parka. Here's to the Minneapple. And to its people. Our flair for style is balanced by a healthy respect for wind chill factors.
And we always, always eat our vegetables.
    This is the Minneapple.

Trump: Chicago is a ?killing field?

Lies, bullshit, demented ramblings during a North Korea style press conference.

Endlessly talking talking talking talking. And this is only part of the video
available. Talked about gold (including the World Cup trophy sitting in the >>>>Oval Office), went on about people leaving garage doors and car trunks open so
crooks won't damage them by breaking in, talking about the President of Europe,
covering up his hand bruise and cankles, claiming he stopped 30-years wars, >>>>yammering about saving LA and getting them water.

He's an imbecile, he talks like an old psychotic bastard.

And then Hegseth talking like he's just snorted a line.

    Epstein!

Stitching together reality as he wants it to be. Good luck getting
"Twenty five thousand homes" worth of water to cross the Cascades and
South Coastals to water the grass in LA.

The politicians might wish to talk to the residents of Chicago to see how *they*
feel about crime in their city.

Which has what to do with irrigating southern California with water
    from Washington State?

Back in the thread disputing that Chicago is a killing field.

    Chicago residents may well ask
"why us, other cities have higher
    murder rates"

    City Murder Rate (per 100k)

    St. Louis, MO 69.4
    Baltimore, MD 51.1
    New Orleans, LA 40.6
    Detroit, MI 39.7
    Cleveland, OH 33.7
    Las Vegas, NV 31.4
    Kansas City, MO 31.2
    Memphis, TN 27.1
    Newark, NJ 25.6
    Chicago, IL 24.0

    https://freedomforallamericans.org/highest-murders-in-us-by-city/

So your solution to the killings is to compare them to other cities
and say they are not as bad per hundred thousand?? I used to live in
the Chicago area decades ago, and drove with a hatchet on the front
seat when going to work due to the threat of a mob attacking my car
at a stop light. Chicago was a hell hole then, and it is worse now!!

After I moved from the area and would return to visit friends and
relatives, I carried a gun in the front of the car, not a hatchet. I
questioned if I should do that, so I stopped at a local police
station and asked their advice about the gun. I was told, "Better to
be judged by 12 than be carried by 6."

    Yep.
    It's classic left winger spin.
Well it's not as bad as XXYYZZ.
We only have 28 shootings per weekend. XXYYZZ has 30.

    Libtard logic in action.

You failed to answer the question.

Since other cities have more crime
and more murders why is Trump trying to
    militarize Chicago?

If Chicago needs their National Guard, the Illinois governor could have
    already done it.

If Trump can order Mational Guards troops to
police Washington DC with just a phone call
why didn't he do so on Jan 6?

Trump watched Jan 6 US Capitol riot unfold
on TV, ignored pleas to call for peace
    July 22, 2022

Former White House counsel Pat Cipollone
was asked question after question in the
    recorded testimony about Trump's actions:
did he call the secretary of defense? The
attorney general? The head of Homeland
Security? Cipollone answered "no" to each
    query.
