The California Business and Industry Alliance ran an ad in USA Today
Thursday calling out California Governor Gavin Newsom for his clout-
chasing social media strategy, and said it is embarrassing California.

California has real problems: Businesses are struggling, families cant
afford to live here, and destroyed homes still havent been rebuilt,
CABIA says. Californians need a Governor, not an Influencer.

The ad reacts to the Governors ongoing social media frenzy and shows
Newsom sporting a clown costume, holding up a smartphone, and features a
mock X post saying Gavin, your tweets are embarrassing California. Stop
    acting like a #CLOWN.

    The ad says:

California has real problems: Businesses are struggling; families cant
afford to live here; destroyed homes still havent been rebuilt; unions
and trial lawyers are ruining the states reputation. Rather than solving
these problems, our Governor is wasting time on social media and bringing
shame on our state. Its time for Gavin
to get offline and get back to work.

Its time for Gavin to get offline and get back to work.

The USA Today ad cites Californias numerous struggles, including the
rising cost of living, destroyed homes from the recent devastating fires,
and out of control trial lawyers targeting the states businesses.

Tom Manzo, president and founder of CABIA explains:

Newsoms behavior is an embarrassment to California. Instead of clowning around on social media, he should prioritize the very real concerns of his constituents. Under his watch, our state has become an even worse place to
live and do business. Californians need a Governor, not an Influencer.

CABIA also created a gaslighting tracker noting Newsoms subtle to
    blatantly false statements:

Gavin Newsom is gaslighting the people of California. But his polished
media appearances and tailored tweets cant hide the harsh reality: His misguided policies are hurting residents, workers, and businesses across
    the Golden State.

Our Gaslight Tracker rates the accuracy behind Newsoms statements on
issues ranging from homelessness to minimum wage hikes. It will be updated periodically to give California residents a real-time look into Gavins
latest attempts at gaslighting his constituents.

The adwhich ran yesterdayis the latest from the California Business and Industrial Alliance (CABIA). CABIAs previous ads have garnered national attention, including a mock obutiary calling out the job losses due Californias $20 fast food wage law.

November 5, 2024 - Congratulations President Donald Trump. We look
forward to America being great again.

We live in a time where intelligent people are being silenced so that
    stupid people won't be offended.

Every day is an IQ test. Some pass, some, not so much.

Thank you for cleaning up the disasters of the 2008-2017, 2020-2024 Obama
/ Biden / Harris fiascos, President Trump.

Under Barack Obama's leadership, the United States of America became the

So then these righteously indignant clowns are as much of a troll as
    Newsom or Trump.
