Fox's Bill Melugin reported on what happened when he went on a ride-along
with the Border Patrol as they conducted an enforcement action in
Sacramento on Thursday morning.

He said they went to a Home Depot. When they arrived, he said "suspected illegal immigrants" ran in all directions, and about 10 people were
arrested.


Melugin explained, "BP tells us they surveilled the location & ran plates
for two days beforehand, with some coming back as previously deported
illegal immigrants." He also said that records checks revealed one of the arrested men was allegedly a felon with a prior conviction for fentanyl trafficking.


Astonishingly, while this was going on, a man was chased and tackled to
the ground by agents. He was arrested and maced in the face "after he
allegedly slashed the tire of a federal vehicle and appeared to assault an agent."

His wife claimed he was a citizen to the agents. But that doesn't stop ICE
from arresting you if you allegedly commit a crime.

Fox showed a picture of the slash in a tire. The agents had to drive the vehicle out on its rims.

Melugin detailed how he was with one team of agents. However, other agents
were operating elsewhere in the city. The USBP Chief of the El Centro
Sector, Gregory Bovino, revealed that this was the "farthest north" his
agents have operated in California during the second Trump administration.
It was meant to "send the message that the federal government can and will
go wherever they want in the sanctuary state.

�There is no sanctuary from our enforcement efforts,� Chief Bovino told Melugin.

Anyone here illegally would be better off taking the option to self-
deport, like a million others did.

California Gov. Gavin's office issued a statement, once again attacking
ICE and appearing to defend suspected illegal aliens.


�Trying to escape a court order stopping their reprehensible and illegal
racial profiling and illegal arrests in L.A., Border Patrol came to
Sacramento to spread more of their chaos and fear. They should go do their
jobs � at the border.�

This is the Border Patrol's job. They don't only work at the border, but
within 100 miles of the border, and yes, that includes Sacramento.
