Slick Willie reduced the deficit by selling our industrial base to
Singapore, Mexico, China, Taiwan and Malaysia.  I may have left out a
few countries that benefited from the loss of millions of manufacturing
jobs and the factories that formerly employed them on Clinton's watch.
Ross Perot coined the term "A giant sucking sound" to describe just the
loss of American jobs to Mexico due to NAFTA.

Willie's 'reduction' was mostly ILLUSION as
you've noted. He sold all our manufacturing
abroad, he re-defined categories and shifted
assets around. Nothing was REALLY improved,
just LOOKED like it on the books.

Very true. Flipping hamburgers at a fast food restaurant was defined as
a "manufacturing job" beginning with the Clinton Administration in an
attempt to hide the loss of factory jobs in heavy industry.

I still enjoy a crisp ketchup salad.

He also piggy backed upon what Bush had put into place.

Yet another lie promulgated by the right to make excuses for the
Republicans in the BUSINESS community who, following Reagan's lead,
    exported jobs to maximize profits.

Reagan reclassified how unemployment would be counted in order to get
    his unemployment number down.

Obama was moderate centrist, not any
    flavor of "radical leftist".

    Obama's "socialist agenda" = appointing
    Republicans to his administration, packing
the Supreme Court with the same centrists that
Bush did, insisting the Bush tax cuts be made
permanent, keeping the Bush secret Gitmo trials,
keeping the Bush immigration policy, keeping the
Bush war on medical marijuana clinics, bailing
out the same banks and insurance companies Bush
did, continuing the Bush drone attack program.
