Republicans in the House of Representatives advanced President Trumps One
Big Beautiful Bill toward a final yes-or-no vote early Thursday, appearing
to overcome internal party divisions over its cost.

Following a day of closed-door meetings on Capitol Hill and at the White
House, lawmakers cleared a final procedural hurdle needed to begin debate
on the bill in a 219-213 vote around 3:30 a.m.

Lawmakers then reopened debate for a final vote that was expected around
    5:30 a.m.

An earlier procedural vote was held open for seven hours Wednesday, giving Trump and House Speaker Mike Johnson time to convince holdouts to back the presidents signature bill.

Johnson (R-La.) had expressed optimism Wednesday night, saying lawmakers
had a long, productive day discussing the issues.

After the vote, he praised Trump for making phone calls to the holdouts
through the early hours of Thursday.

There couldnt be a more engaged and involved president, Johnson told reporters.

The Senate passed the legislation, which nonpartisan analysts say will add
$3.4 trillion to the nations $36.2 trillion in debt over the next decade,
by the narrowest possible margin Tuesday after intense debate on the
bills hefty price tag and $900 million in cuts to the Medicaid health
    care program for low-income Americans.

Republicans in Congress have struggled to stay united in recent years,
but they also have not defied Trump since he returned to the White House
    in January.

Any changes made by the House would require another Senate vote, which
would make it all but impossible to meet the July 4 deadline.

The legislation contains most of Trumps top domestic priorities, from tax
    cuts to immigration enforcement.

The bill would extend Trumps 2017 tax cuts, cut health and food safety
net programs, fund Trumps immigration crackdown, and zero out many green- energy incentives.

Trump supporters should be the hardest hit because they live in impoverished red shithole states that will refuse to take up the slack left by Trump and
are most reliant on social services just as their red state shithole governments rely on $$ from the Feds to stay afloat.

All those Trumpers starving and dying in the streets with no doctor is a

Yes, the National Weather Service (NWS) did issue warnings of floods
to Texans, particularly concerning the recent catastrophic flooding in
    the Hill Country.

Here's a timeline and some key details from the reports:

Initial Flood Watch: The local NWS office issued an initial flood
watch as early as 1:18 p.m. local time on Thursday, July 3rd,
predicting 5 to 7 inches of rain.

Increasingly Ominous Messaging: Weather alerts from the NWS grew more
severe in the early morning hours of Friday, July 4th, urging people
to move to higher ground and evacuate flood-prone areas.

Flash Flood Warnings: Flash Flood Warnings were issued on the night of
July 3rd and in the early morning of July 4th, providing several hours
of lead time before flash flooding conditions occurred. The first
official warning with a "Considerable" tag (which typically triggers
Wireless Emergency Alerts on cell phones) was issued just after 1 a.m.
    on Friday.

Flash Flood Emergency: At 4:03 a.m. on Friday, the NWS office issued
an urgent "Flash Flood Emergency" for Kerr County, a rare and serious
alert indicating imminent danger and catastrophic damage. This is the
most serious alert level in the flash flood warning system.

Looks like your "sources" are lying again.

Your sources are claiming Dems seeded the clouds causing the downpour,
The also claim that workers leftover from Biden administration
    deliberately sabotaged the forcasts.

But do explain why, if the Weather Service issued the warnings in timely manner, did so many die in the flood.

    ==============
KERR COUNTY, Texas (KXAN) State and local officials are calling out
federal forecasters amid deadly flooding in the Texas Hill Country over
the extended Fourth of July weekend. The criticism comes, as funding cuts
and staff shortages plague the National Weather Service and other
    emergency management agencies nationwide.

Texas Department of Emergency Management Chief Nim Kidd told reporters
Friday original forecasts from the National Weather Service predicted 4
to 8 inches of rain in that area, but the amount of rain that fell in
this specific location was never in any of those forecasts.

Listen, everybody got the forecast from the National Weather Service,
right? Kidd said. You all got it, youre all in media, you got that
forecast. It did not predict the amount of rain that we saw.

But former NWS officials maintain the forecasts were as accurate as
possible and noted the storm escalated abruptly. They told Christopher
Flavelle of the New York Times that the problem appeared to be that NWS
had lost the staffers who would typically communicate with local
authorities to spread the word of dangerous conditions. Molly Taft at
Wired confirmed that NWS published flash flood warnings but safety
officials didnt send out public warnings until hours later.

Meanwhile, Kerr Countys most senior elected official, Judge Rob Kelly,
focused on local officials, telling Flavelle that the county did not have
a warning system because such systems are expensive and [t]axpayers
    wont pay for it.

The NWS responded as they should have and you left-tarded morons lie about
it in the face of overwhelming publicly available evidence to the contrary.

BTW, your coastal roads in Oregon aren't up to the task of handling
traffic caused by tsunami warnings. I've heard it and seen it. It's a
total cluster fuck. People would be safer running up a hill or climbing
    trees.

They has *half* the usual staff,

    You're so pathetically ignorant.

"Specifically, the NWS office in Austin/San Antonio, which covers the area including hard-hit Kerr County, had extra personnel staffed, according to
a NOAA spokesperson. The NWS New Braunfels office had "surge staffing"
with five forecasters instead of the usual two. This suggests a

Baxter impotently tries to change the subject. ROFLMAO

KKKlaun hates when his worshipful defense of tRump and Rethugs gets
shown for the lies it is.

And Baxter CONTINUES to run away from his lie.

    ROFLMAO!!!!!

KKKlaun sez: tRump&Co are not only blameless, they're exemplary - it's
all the fault of the victims!  It's always the fault of the victims!!!

Baxter thrashes around, but Klaus still has him hooked.

Run away KKKlaun, you know it's true - that's why you snipped it.

Baxter again ducks and dodges without supporting his claim.
