    Saw it on TV somewhere, maybe FOX. One of those nice big
    steel white on blue info signs the govt sticks here and
    there - but this one at the end of a muddy dirt road and
    reads "Alligator Alcatraz" :-)

    The Everglades facility is already up and running, got
    its first batch on Friday apparently.

    It is not intended for 'long term storage' but as a
    relatively secure holding facility prior to physical
    deportation to wherever. The 11,000 foot runway is
    big enough for jumbo jets.

    I've been in that general vicinity, 'Alligator Alley'
    highway that runs across the southern glades. It's
    a seriously 'middle of nowhere' area.

    The BBB contains expanded funding for deportation
    programs, so expect things to notch up. Florida
    itself had become plagued by the cartels and gangs
    and now has something to DO with them. The prison
    is within easy range of both Gitmo and El Salvador.
    Traveling judges ARE being flown in daily, so there
    is at least a modicum of 'due process' involved.

    With enough immigration courts, no 'long term' anything is needed.
    Because there are not enough, it will be years long incarceration and
    murder.

    Remember when the Gitmo prison was labelled
    as "temporary placement"?

    20 years later and Bush's prisoners are still
    rotting away there.............
