    "Revision" is TYPICAL. The trick is to make
    sure solid docs still exist SOMEWHERE. Foreign
    servers/libraries are your best bet.

    But will the NEXT regime use them ? Don't
    bet. They too will want to revise reality.

    There IS some truth in the statement that "The

    There is a huge difference between a memorial and
    book banning. The book history relating to the
    personage represented by the statue is still
    available - people just don't want memorials to
    racists and the like...

    Funny how conservatives had no problem
    with US troops removing Nazi statues
    in Germany and Saddam statues in Iraq.
