Re �Nothing sacred in 'post-truth' America� column by Ann McFeatters.
I would suggest that the truth is not sacred in the news media today. Ms. McFeatters suggests that President-elect Donald Trump did something wrong regarding his daughter�s bracelet.
I mean, can it get any more stupid?
She claims Trump�s transition team is in chaos. This lady has no first-
hand knowledge that this true. She claimed that Trump requested security clearance for his children even though Trump said he did not. She
furthered claimed that �well he can do it when he becomes President.�
Then she goes on to whine about President-elect Trump taking his family to dinner and not inviting the press. Who would want to go to dinner with a
bunch of people who for the past 18 months have tried to destroy you?
There is nothing in the U.S. Constitution that suggests that the president
has to have a press pool. She claims media empires are collapsing, as if
it were Trump�s fault. The reason the media is in trouble is because of articles written by people like McFeatters. She notes false articles on
the internet as if Trump put them there.I would say, �My God lady, 90
percent of what you read on the internet is false and you want to imply
Trump did it.�
Of course she has to end this article by suggesting that Steve Bannon is a white supremacist. Of course the media has claimed that white nationalists elected Trump. I would guess Ms. McFeatters thinks that white supremacists
and white nationalists are one in the same.
I wonder why newspapers like The Sun News continue to print articles like
this. Do you not have the responsibility to vet these articles? Unless, of course, you want your readers to be exposed to either complete lies, or at best, half-truths.
If that is the case, then you are no better than the internet.
