Even Steven A. Smith (who voted for Kamala) understands

Stephen A Smith DEMOLISHES Joy Behar as she tries to dismiss Trump

The View host Joy Behar was left speechless after receiving a dramatic
dressing down by Stephen A. Smith on her show.

On Tuesday, ESPN star Smith appeared on The View to discuss President
Trump - but heated discussions turned sour when Behar put up resistance
about accepting Kamala Harris' defeat to the Republican.

Behar started by addressing Trump's first few weeks in office,
proclaiming that his first six weeks 'feels like six years, doesn't it?'

less than 50 percent. So what is this mandate, really?' she said.

Smith took no time putting Behar in her place with his scathing response.

He defiantly said: 'It is a mandate, and I'm going to tell you why,'
before stating that he is not a supporter of Trump, but instead he is a supporter of 'truth.'

The View guest then swept the floor with Behar's lousy argument, telling
her that Trump won 'every swing state' and increased his voter turnout
in the black, Hispanic, and young people demographics.

'Eighty nine percent of the counties shifted to the right,' Smith said,

Black and Latino voters - might regret voting for the 78-year-old.

'But in the end, what it comes down to is this: the American people, in
their eyes it wasn't about him. They were voting against what the
Democrats were throwing in their direction.'

In recent weeks, Smith shocked Bill Maher's audience with his blunt
verdict on why Trump won a second term in the White House - and admitted
why he feels like a 'damn fool' for supporting Harris.

TAs a result of his hot takes, which have gone viral, Smith has
generated a lot of support for a potential presidential bid.

Smith, who previously spoke exclusively to DailyMail.com about a
possible foray into the world of politics, has repeatedly hinted at
running on the Democratic ticket in 2028 since Kamala Harris' defeat to
Trump at the ballot box in November.

Despite his insistence that he has no desire to be president, the
57-year-old claimed that he would beat any candidate the Democratic
    party put forward.

Smith previously talked up his chances of running for the White House in
an exclusive interview with DailyMail.com at the Super Bowl.

'Assuming that I'm well off, that I have lots of money, and money is no
longer a concern, if the American people came to me and looked at me and
said "Yo, man, we want you to run for office", and I had a legitimate
shot to win the presidency of the United States, I'm not gonna lie. I'll
    think about that,' he said.

'But I gotta have my money. I'm not gonna go to the White House broke.
I'm not gonna do that. I gotta have my money. I gotta have my home. I
gotta have my financial situation completely taken care of. I have no
concerns if that happens for me.

'If they told me I had a legitimate, bonafide shot to win the presidency
of the United States of America, I would entertain it.

'Because the part that I'm not joking about is I believe I could beat
every candidate on that poll. Every candidate that they mentioned, from
Kamala Harris right on down to (Pete) Buttigieg and to Tim Walz. I'd
beat all of them. I do believe that. I really do.'

True, for sufficiently long terms. For example, the 1929 crash didn't
break even (return to its prior high) until 23 November 1954 = 25 years.

As such, we all have a chunk of Sequence of Returns risk which largely
hinge on the good/bad luck of when one was born, because 65-70 years
later, you'll be retired and needing to spend what was saved & invested.

    Do not spout looser opinions.

My Social Security benefit payments to me are less than I am getting

Every month I had money automatically buy from both Vangard and

Which merely sounds like you saved more than 6.2% of wages .. plus
you're probably neglecting to factor that some of SS's taxes go to
disability insurance, so the amount 'invested' in SS is less than 6.2%.

Odds are in the future the SS will continue to fall further behind.
The newer, younger workers are likely to be unhappy and very hesitant in their votes to endorse raising the Social Security withholding tax
for it to be immediately just given to Boomers.

Perhaps, or perhaps the earnings cap (currently $176,100/yr) will be
finally raised .. or eliminated totally .. to address the trust fund.
Plus one could reform immigration to have more paying into the system.
More than one way to skin the cat.

Barack Obama: 'Americans spooked by black man in White House' led to Trump

Former president writes in memoir, A Promised Land, ‘my very presence in

Donald Trump “promised an elixir for the racial anxiety” of “millions of
Americans spooked by a black man in the White House”, Barack Obama writes
    in his eagerly awaited memoir.

Those Americans, Obama writes, were prey to “the dark spirits that had long

Kenyan-born Obama all set for US Senate

Kenyan-born US Senate hopeful, Barrack Obama, appeared set to take over the Illinois Senate seat after his main rival, Jack Ryan, dropped out of the race on Friday night amid a furor over lurid sex club allegations.

The allegations that horrified fellow Republicans and caused his once-promising candidacy to implode in four short days have given Obama a clear lead as Republicans struggled to fetch an alternative.

Ryan’s campaign began to crumble on Monday following the release of embarrassing records from his divorce. In the records, his ex-wife, Boston Public actress Jeri Ryan, said her former husband took her to kinky sex clubs in Paris, New York and New
    Orleans.

"It’s clear to me that a vigorous debate on the issues most likely could not take place if I remain in the race," Ryan, 44, said in a statement. "What would take place, rather, is a brutal, scorched-earth campaign – the kind of campaign that has
turned off so many voters, the kind of politics I refuse to play."

Although Ryan disputed the allegations, saying he and his wife went to one ‘avant-garde’ club in Paris and left because they felt uncomfortable, lashed out at the media and said it was "truly outrageous" that the Chicago Tribune got a judge to unseal
    the records.

It's a shitty system when someone who doesn't win a majority of the

which is not only undemocratic but actually anti-democratic *and* anti-republican.

Nobody else has any complaints about it, just immature ADHD pukes.

Nope. It prevents states with larger populations from having an adverse
effect on the fairness and representation overall.

Shitty states like California don't matter because elections are over by
the time those communists get their votes tallied.

What about people who say Social Security is unnecessary, instead

Well, I am OK with continuing Social Security but it's financial
problems need to be understood and shored up. Too many workers
lack the discipline to save for their future selves.

But workers need to know that Social Security is very bare minimum.
My Social Security benefit payments to me are less than I am getting
monthly as my Minimum Required Distributions (MRDs) from my Individual
Retirement Account (IRA / from 403b).

You're lucky. Not everyone could earn enough to save anything - and
didn't work for a company that contributed to an IRA (or other retirement account)

Baxter, quit talking dumbshit talking points.
The biggest problem is not what 'they' earn, it is the discipline
of putting aside and delaying gratification. Too many workers
want to spend it all, or worse, spend more that they earn.
They lack the discipline to save.

Example, many of my co-workers after retiring, had to get 2nd,
and even 3rd careers. We earned exactly the same, but I
    saved and they spent.

And I never had an employer contribute to my IRA / 403b / 401k.

Odds are in the future the SS will continue to fall further behind.
The newer, younger workers are likely to be unhappy and very hesitant
in their votes to endorse raising the Social Security withholding tax
for it to be immediately just given to Boomers.

Yes, that explains all the poverty by
Trump voters living from paycheck to paycheck
in W Virginia and Mississippi - they just don't
    save enough.

Praise the rich, blame the poor - it has

Stuff it up your ass! Not everyone gets paid a living wage, some have to supplement with Welfare, for many, every cent goes to food and bills with nothing for savings. for many more, one sickness or misfortune wipes away

Stuff it up your ass!  Not everyone gets paid a living wage,

Entirely unskilled young people who are *not expected* to earn a living
    wage.

If they want to survive they are. They best get out there and live in their cars like they do in California.

People earn what they're worth. If that's not enough to live on alone,
they just have to make alternate arrangements, don't they? A person does
not have a "right" to what you call a "living wage." Your idea of a
so-called "living wage" is one that provides lots of luxuries. No one
has a "right" to that, Bugster.

    Liberals think so.
