Why are you using 2 routers? Remove the second router and
connect wifi through the fios router. The fios router
should support wifi too. If you use any static ip from the
router, make sure they are outside the dhcp range of the
router.
Perhaps the term Access Point should be substituted for router...for the inside network.
I'm 99.9 that's what was meant.
One reason not to use the FiOS modem device's router and WIFi capabilities, is because
you have to pay extra for it each and every month.
