  • where is a forum for this question about gmail?

    Where is forum or group to ask the gmail question below? TIA Bill S.
    (Also, feel free to answer the gmail question)

    If I use my comcast.net email on my PC to send an email with an 8MB
    picture attached to my gmail.com address it does it real quick.
    But, if I have the 8 MB picture on my Samsung A12 phone and attach it to
    a gmail.com email and send it to my comcast.net email address the
    phone shows the message as 'queued' for about 25 minutes, then finally
    gmail sends it.

    QUESTION: Why is gmail so slow to send it? TIA Bill S.

    This article was /not/ written for phones, but the concept is the same;
    the 'quality' or bandwidth of your device to the gmail/internet.

    There isn't a gmail problem about 8 meg attachment; gmail allows 20-25.

    You didn't say if you were using the gmail web app w/ the phone or the
    phone's email app.

    Thanks for the good info. You are always an excellent source of
    information. I generally cut and paste answers I get to my questions,
    to files in a directory named PCtweaks. It has 97 files in it.
