SAN LUIS OBISPO -- Three boys charged with raping, torturing and
murdering a 15-year-old girl also were accused Wednesday of committing
the crime as part of what they believed was a satanic ritual.
Prosecutors added allegations of ''overt acts'' to the charges against
Jacob Delashmutt, 16; Joseph Fiorella, 15; and Royce Casey, 17.
The teens were arrested March 14 for investigation of the murder of
Elyse Pahler of Arroyo Grande. Prosecutors are seeking to try the
    youths as adults.
Prosecutors allege in court documents that the boys formed a musical
group to glorify Satan and ''earn a ticket to hell.'' They killed
Pahler in order to commit the ultimate sin against God by sacrificing a virgin, the documents said.

Teens to pay price for spree 2 face more than a decade in prison.
    (Metro) Thomas B. Pfankuch.

Two Southside teenagers face more than a decade in prison for an
arson and bombing spree last year that caused $50,000 to
    $100,000 damage to a half-dozen churches and a school, a
    prosecutor said.

Police said the crime spree had its roots in satanic worship.
The teens pleaded guilty yesterday to numerous felonies related
to the bombing of a police car, burglaries to a pair of
businesses and the arson of the churches and a high school ROTC
    building last fall and winter.

Authorities said the ringleader of the loose-knit group was
Ryan Tucker, 17, of the 3900 block of Abby Lane. Tucker, who
pleaded guilty yesterday to several charges including a hate
crime, accepted a plea agreement that will include 13 years in
state prison, said Assistant State Attorney Robert H. Fishback
    Jr.

Forrest Joshua Robert, 17, of the 3600 block of Calla Drive
pleaded guilty to several charges but no hate crimes and was
sentenced to 11 years in prison, Fishback said.

Tucker's 14-year-old brother, Bryan Tucker, still faces several
charges relating to the crime spree, Fishback said.
No one was injured in the bombings or arsons, but Fishback said
the teens' crimes had great potential for harm and shook up the
community at a time when church fires were blazing throughout
    the South.

"But for the grace of God, with the fires they were setting and
the bombs they were exploding, we're lucky no one was injured,"
    Fishback said.
Robert's father, Forrest Smith, said his son got caught in the
throes of peer pressure and didn't realize the seriousness of
    his actions.

Smith said Robert never meant to hurt anyone but now accepts
    responsibility for his crimes.

"None of it, not a single thing, was his idea," Smith said.
"We're dying inside -- it's han enormous amount of time, but he
never thought that he should get away without being punished."
Fishback said Ryan Tucker had a shrine to Satan built in his
bedroom and had upsidedown crosses and pentagrams -- both
symbols of satanism -- painted on the walls. Fishback called the
    bedroom "ghastly and appalling."
Fishback said Ryan Tucker and the teens pleaded guilty to
setting fires or vandalizing the following churches last year:
Faith United Methodist Church, Bethel Baptist Church, Hunterdale
Pentecostal Church and the Southside Church of God.
Several charges related to other incidents at churches were
dropped as part of the teens' plea agreement, Fishback said.

2 Putnam students held after story of killing. Dana Treen.

Two Putnam County students have been charged with conspiracy to commit second-degree murder after a teacher discovered a drawing depicting the aftermath of an bloody assault at Palatka High School.
William Tyler Black, 17, and Jeffery Burton Carter, 16, were arrested
Tuesday and are being held in juvenile detention in Gainesville after
their teacher said they told him of a Columbinelike assault they
    hatched.
The sketch discovered by teacher David Nye showed a student with a
bloody knife, a shotgun and an assault rifle standing in the campus
commons area, said Capt. Dick Schauland of the Putman County Sheriff's Office.
Schauland said Black and Carter have told detectives they invented the
story after Nye spotted the drawing.
Investigators are also looking at a possible link between the two
students and an incident yesterday involving a teacher who was taken to
a hospital after drinking water from a bottle suspected to be laced
with window cleaner or spot remover.
Nye is a history teacher at Putnam Academy, a disciplinary school where
the two students were sent after being suspended the first day of
    school at Palatka High.
Nye told investigators that Black, an 11th-grader, and Carter, a
10th-grader, said they considered themselves outcasts because they
worshiped Satan and that they had a plan for killing people at Palatka
    High School.
"We no longer have the luxury in America of deciding if this is serious
or not," said Superintendent David Buckles. "We're taking these
    absolutely seriously."
Schauland said searches of their homes have not turned up any weapons.

1979 SLAY CASE NEEDED FBI: PROF. (News)
Full Text: COPYRIGHT 2002 N.Y.P. Holdings, Inc.
Not two, but three government jurisdictions should have investigated
the unsolved, grisly murder of a Brooklyn couple more than 20 years
    ago, The Post has learned.
Ralph Stein, a law professor at Pace University, said that although
it's not mandatory, New York and New Jersey authorities should have
asked the FBI to assist them in the investigation for two reasons:
    * If the homicides occurred in New Jersey, there's a federal charge of kidnapping since the couple lived in Brooklyn.
    * If the murders took place in Brooklyn, the bodies were removed to New Jersey to hide the crime - also a federal offense.
The case went cold amid confusion among detectives from Brooklyn's 88th Precinct, New Jersey's West Paterson police and the Passaic County,
N.J., prosecutor's office as to who should have followed up the
    original probe.
Howard Green, 51, and his girlfriend Carol Marron, 33, were bludgeoned
to death as part of a possible satanic ritual attack in 1979.
Sgt. Dennis Bootle of the Brooklyn Cold Case Squad said it was treated
as a missing-person case in New York, where Green and Marron lived, and
a homicide case in New Jersey, where the victims were found. But Capt.
Edward Murphy of the Passaic County prosecutor's office said New Jersey detectives collected evidence at the time that determined the homicides
took place inside Green and Marron's Brooklyn apartment.

Jurors at the "Butcher of Tompkins Square" sanity trial were given a
tour yesterday of a madman's library - a place of porn, satanic tracts
    and true-crime serial-killer thrillers.
Lining murderer-dismemberer Daniel Rakowitz psych-ward shelf on Wards
Island are books with titles like "Poison Blood," "Deranged" and
    "Cellar of Horror."
Prosecutors, who displayed the books to the jury, are citing the
library as one more reason he should stay locked up.
Rakowitz, 43, is arguing he is no longer dangerous - 15 years after he admitted murdering his girlfriend and then cooking her into a soup he
fed to the East Village homeless.
Perhaps the most interesting books on the storied murderer's reading
list were the two that got away: "Gray's Anatomy" and "Mein Kampf."
"Yup!" Rakowitz answered when a prosecutor asked him if he tried and
failed, in 1992, to order the book on human anatomy.
And Hitler's manifesto had apparently been taken from Rakowitz before
    his psych-ward commitment.
Rakowitz had a copy of "Mein Kampf" on him during his first
interrogation by cops, explaining that his father gave it to him when
    he turned 13.

HELLISH '79 SLAY CASE GOES COLD AFTER COPS DROP BALL. (News)
Full Text: COPYRIGHT 2002 N.Y.P. Holdings, Inc.
Confusion among cops as to who should have investigated the ghoulish
murder of a Brooklyn couple may have resulted in the case remaining
unsolved for more than 20 years.
Howard Green, 51, and his girlfriend Carol Marron, 33, were bludgeoned
to death in a possible devil worship-related attack in 1979.
Their eyeballs were blown out, the tips of their ears cut off and
almost all their blood had been drained through approximately 30
puncture marks made in identical places on the two bodies,
    investigators said.
The two corpses were bound in canvas and rugs and dumped in West
Paterson, N.J., where they were discovered by a boy walking his dog.
A Post investigation into the double homicide found not only that the
trail to the brutal killer has gone cold, but it may never have been
    followed properly.
Retired detectives from Brooklyn's 88th Precinct and the West Paterson
Police Department, along with the Passaic County Prosecutor's Office, confirmed they all thought the others had done the follow-up
    investigation.
"Technically, Jersey's got the responsibility [to follow up]," said
retired Brooklyn detective James Devereaux. He says he assisted the
original investigation of the Brooklyn couple's murder as a courtesy to
    the Passaic prosecutor.
But retired West Paterson detective Thomas Hemsey says the
investigation was left in New York, where the murders probably
    occurred.
"Devereaux was supposed to keep following up on it if any new
    information came," Hemsey said.
Capt. Ed Murphy of the Passaic Prosecutor's Office also put the burden
on New York and was surprised to learn the case was unsolved.
A New York police spokesman, Walter Burns, said the Brooklyn Cold Case
Squad is currently not working on the case.
The Post investigation also found startling inconsistencies in the investigators' recollections of their work.
Devereaux said he twice interviewed a resident of the victims'
neighborhood, who, he reported, admitted to having drained the blood of
mice he kept. He said he wanted to impress his girlfriend at the time, Devereaux recalled.
The man, who now lives out of state, dismissed Devereaux's recollection
and says he never met the detective.
"Hell no, I never said that stuff," he said, adding he was on a
hitchhiking holiday in Texas at the time of the murders.
Devereaux said he thought the murders were part of a ritual because he recalled satanic paraphernalia being found inside the victims'
apartment at 280 DeKalb Ave. in downtown Brooklyn. He said the
apartment was in disarray and drenched in blood, as if a struggle had occurred there.
But retired West Paterson detective Joseph Lambert said the apartment
was neat and clean, with no signs of devil worship.
Lambert said the building's landlord, Jonathan Nelson, wanted Green's apartment for his terminally ill father because Green was paying
"peanuts" in rent each month. He said Nelson had taken Green to court
    over it.
Nelson confirmed to The Post that he had wanted the apartment for his
father because it was on the ground floor and easily accessible. He
said he had nothing against Green and Marron and had been interviewed
    by police at the time.

NAZI'S SICK RITES - TEENS TELL OF KKK SATANISM. (News)
Full Text: COPYRIGHT 2004 N.Y.P. Holdings, Inc.
Thomas Zibelli, the self-styled neo-Nazi charged with recruiting teens
to deface a synagogue and Metro-North station with swastikas and white-supremacist slogans, held regular Ku Klux Klan cross burning
rituals in a Bronx park, two youths told The Post.
"My heart still beats fast when I walk through the park," said John
Izzo, 15, as he and a friend led a reporter to a clearing deep in the
woods of Pelham Bay Park. "My heart is thumping. I don't want to
    remember it."
The friend, who wanted to be identified only as D.K., added that the cross-burnings "were scary."
The hate-filled rituals, held at least one night a month, were a
macabre mix of KKK and satanic rites. They included cross-burnings,
chicken sacrifices and people chanting, "Kill the niggers, Jews and
spics," "White power" and "White is right," the two friends said.
"There was about 50 people at some of those meetings and some of them
wore their KKK hoods," said D.K. "Tommy [Zibelli] would burn a big
    wooden cross."
Some of the adult participants wore white hoods, he said, but most of
those at the eerie rituals were unhooded teens lured to the park with promises of six-packs and sex videos - the same enticements Westchester officials claim Zibelli used to get his young Bronx neighbors to spread
    his hate across the border.
D.K. said he started scrawling swastikas around The Bronx under
Zibelli's direction in exchange for alcohol and porno videos.
He said he got his buddy Izzo involved after "Tommy told me if I
recruited more people he would give us more booze and more porn."
D.K. said he was arrested after he was caught drawing a swastika on IS
192 in Throgs Neck two months ago.
"I told the police it was just a joke. I couldn't rat on Tommy. Tommy threatened to kill us if we would say anything," said D.K.
Izzo added, "Tommy would tell us if we told anyone there would be
serious consequences. That was part of the deal."
The two teens, who attend Lehman HS, said they regret their involvement
    with Zibelli.
"I'm sorry I did that," said D.K.. "I feel that I was brainwashed. What
    I did wasn't right. I wouldn't do it again."
John said "Inside, it's tearing me apart."
Zibelli, 33, is being held without bail at the Westchester County Jail.

Two 14-year-old Long Island boys were arrested and charged with hate
crimes for allegedly vandalizing a Catholic church while chanting,
"Satan rules! We don't believe in God!"
The unidentified teens were charged by Suffolk police with scrawling "I
love Satan" and other anti-religious messages on a building at St.
Joseph's Church in Ronkonkoma last month.
They were also charged, in a second incident, with stealing
candleholders from the church and dumping them in nearby woods, and
damaging the sprinkler system in the house of worship.
"The church was an easy target," said Detective Sgt. Robert Reecks of
    the Bias Crimes Bureau.
One of the boys claimed "that he studied Satan with his father in
    Arizona," said Reecks.
Both youths were charged as juveniles with criminal mischief.

A 300-pound biker, who leads a gang known as "Satan's Soldiers," is
facing a hellish future after being nabbed manufacturing drugs in a clandestine lab near a school in The Bronx, the feds charge.
Angelo "Red" Cruz surrounded himself with an arsenal of guns while
directing his gang to produce crystal methamphetamine - also known as
crank and ice - in a trailer near the gang's clubhouse, according to
    court papers.
Cruz, wearing a tent-sized red and black jacket, was hauled into
Manhattan federal court yesterday after a close pal ratted him out to
    cops.
The pal claims Cruz called him on his cell phone 40 times last month to
chat about his drug-making operation, NYPD Detective Steven Ramirez
    said in a federal complaint.
During a raid last month on the gang's clubhouse on Beach Avenue, cops
found a stash of weapons, including an Intertec Tec-9, a loaded
    Mossburg pistol-grip shotgun, a Remington .22-caliber handgun, 47
rounds of ammunition, six knives, a taser gun, a slingshot and a pair

'RAPIST': YOU'RE HAVING SATAN'S CHILD. (News)
Full Text: COPYRIGHT 2001 N.Y.P. Holdings, Inc.
A con man who posed as a Rockefeller to swindle marks on Long Island
sexually assaulted a woman in Canada, shouting, "I am the devil and
you're going to have Satan's child," prosecutors charged yesterday.
The shocking allegation emerged during a bail hearing in Vancouver for accused grifter Christopher Rocancourt, 33, who U.S. authorities
believe fleeced millions from victims in the Hamptons and L.A.
Rocancourt, wanted for skipping bail in Suffolk County and Los Angeles,
was busted in Canada last week after a fraud probe by the Royal
    Canadian Mounted Police.
An unidentified 24-year-old woman told cops she struck up a friendship
with Rocancourt before she was assaulted on April 9 on a deserted
Vancouver Island golf course, according to prosecutor Ken Madsen.
Rocancourt, passing himself off as a Formula One race car driver and
son of a World War II Nazi, were on a nighttime stroll when he became
enraged because the woman wouldn't disclose personal financial
    information, Madsen said.
He allegedly shouted, "I am the devil and you're going to have Satan's
child" in Italian during the assault and Rocancourt later pointed a gun
at the victim, telling her to keep the attack quiet.
The sexual-assault charge surprised his New York pursuers.
"I'm not aware of anything like that on Long Island," said East Hampton Detective Margaret Dunn.
But a Los Angeles cop said he believes Rocancourt has a violent streak.

"He has threatened an informant. He's made veiled threats toward me,"
said George Mueller, an investigator with the Los Angeles district
    attorney's office.

    Sacrifice of Fetus Allegedly Planned
A man pleaded guilty this week to slashing his girlfriend with a
13-inch knife after she resisted his attempts to cut a 3-month-old
fetus from her womb, reportedly as a sacrifice to the devil.
Federal prosecutors allege in court paperwork that Jimmy Raphaelito,
34, was intoxicated on Aug. 5, 1998, when he beat Elaine Martine, cut
her, burned her with a match and put her in a dog cage at their mobile
home in Ramah, west of Grants.
As part of a plea agreement, Raphaelito pleaded guilty Tuesday before
U.S. District Judge James A. Parker to one count of assault with a
dangerous weapon, a knife. He had been charged with three counts of
assault with a dangerous weapon and one count of assault resulting in
    serious bodily injury.
According to a court document, Raphaelito arrived home and told
Martine, who was three months pregnant with his child, that he wanted
to cut out the child as a sacrifice.
"Raphaelito, who is apparently a devil-worshipper, said that 'it was
the only way he would be dedicated,' " the document said.
When Martine told him that she did not want to be a part of the
"satanic ritual," Raphaelito began to beat her with his fists and a
    metal weight, the document said.
Raphaelito tied her to his bed with speaker wire and cut her several
times with a 13-inch knife, according to the document.
He forced Martine, who was wearing only a pair of socks, outside and
put her in a dog cage, the document said.
Martine escaped when he let her out to use the bathroom. She was taken
to a clinic, and later to a hospital in Ramah.
It was unclear Wednesday what happened to the child. Prosecutors said
they are barred by federal rules from commenting on the case until
after sentencing. A call seeking comment from Raphaelito's attorney,
Charles Fisher, was not returned Wednesday.
Sentencing for Raphaelito was set for Jan. 20. He faces a maximum
statutory penalty of up to 10 years imprisonment and a $250,000 fine.

Ray Wanted Her As Sex Toy, Witness Says
TIERRA AMARILLA A woman testifying against David Parker Ray told the
jury in his sex-torture trial on Thursday that she was held at
knifepoint, then was tied to a bench and sexually abused during her 2
1/2 days of captivity in 1996.
"He told me that he was in some kind of satanic group, and that they
had been watching me for a long time and they wanted me for a sex toy,"
    the 26-year-old woman testified.
The slender woman with long, blond hair appeared nervous during nearly
two hours of testimony, but she answered questions firmly.
However, when prosecutors showed her a photograph taken from a
videotape seized from Ray's utility trailer, she broke down.
"That's me," she said. She covered her face with one hand and cried. Prosecutors say the former Truth or Consequences resident who now lives
in Colorado was held by Ray for about 60 hours in late July 1996. Ray
is on trial for rape, kidnapping and other crimes.
It's the first of three trials scheduled for Ray, who is also accused
in the sex-torture of two other women.
The woman who testified Thursday said she ended up at Ray's house after
his daughter, Jesse, offered her a ride home from a Truth or
    Consequences bar.
She said Ray and his daughter went into a back room for about 10
minutes. When they returned, one of them she said she doesn't remember
which held a knife to her throat and the other taped her mouth and
    eyes.
She said she was then taken to a utility trailer next to their mobile
home where she was tied, naked, her legs spread apart, on what felt
    like a weight-lifting bench.
She said Ray abused her with a sexual device about 30 separate times in
about six sessions. She said she knew it was Ray because of his voice
and because she was able to peek under the duct tape.
She said she was not a voluntary participant.
"I just kept telling him I wanted to go home," she said. "I didn't want
    to be there."
She said the abuse was painful.
"I was trying to tell him to quit. I was crying," she said.
The woman testified that immediately after the ordeal she didn't
remember any of it. The memories returned incrementally over the past
four years, but she didn't tell police, she said.
"I didn't know if it was true. I thought it was a nightmare. I just
didn't want to believe it, I guess," she testified.
The woman said her life had changed since the incident.
"I don't go anywhere. I'm scared to be alone. I don't sleep," she said.
"My husband now, we fight about sex. If I am alone, I have a pistol
    sitting right beside me."
Under the questioning of Ray's public defender, Jeff Rein, the woman
said she sought no medical treatment after the weekend incident, even
though she testified it had caused her to bleed for three days.
And she said she didn't tell any of several people with whom she was
    friendly what had happened.
When prosecutors asked her about keeping it to herself, she said: "I
thought it was a nightmare, and I thought if I didn't tell anybody it
would go away. It didn't go away."

Anyone else on here have any more references to David Parker Ray and satanism? Maybe his daughter Jessie and satanism? Maybe even specifically worship of Baal and David Parker Ray? I'm haunted by this statement the prosecutor asked her about keeping it
to herself she said I thought it was a nightmare and I thought if I didn't tell anybody it would go away it didn't go away. I also word for word have thought this about my interactions with David and Jessie so long ago.

Have never mentioned this in a public forum but I was related by marriage to David Parker Ray I met him many times as a child. I spent time with his daughters at his sister's house. My relatives say that was never left alone with him but I remember
otherwise. I very clearly remember walking on the ditch bank with him just me and him leaving his daughters behind at the yard. Some of the things I remember were definitely satanic and violent. Some of the things were just strange and don't seem logical.
And a small fraction of it was just normal. My mother was married to a man who was raised Catholic but he always said he was a heathen and a pagan. I know he took me to see him when my mom was not around. There were other strange situations he put me in
or let me be in that I don't really understand. The more I remember the less I understand.
