    Is there a program that gives a graphical display of what's taking up space
    on the hard drive (kind of like what is displayed on a cellphone GUI)?

    TreeSize Free
    WinDirStat

    I've used both. WinDirStat is a bit obtuse in what it shows. I stuck
    with TreeSize (the free version is sufficient for my needs).

    In addition to Vanguard's recommendations, there is WizTree, which I use.
