    In most (all?) cases, you don't need silly codes like this.

    Just use 'winver' from a Command Prompt window (or 'Run' box, etc.)
    and if it says 'Version 22H2' (second half of 2022), you have the latest
    and greatest (and the final version).

    But yes, 'winver' will also say '(OS Build 19045.5247)' (or some such
    (my wife's box is set to Dutch).

    Yes, (up until now) you can jump over those hoops with older Hardware,
    that does not 'fit the bill', but that is nothing MS supports.

    Never the less, it is the patch level on a rolling release.
