  • Facebook oddity

    If I open my daughter's Facebook page on Messenger Using Microsoft Edge,
    I see the last messages I sent followed by the message 'These messages
    were sent before this chat was secured with end-to-end encryption. You
    can't reply, react or forward.' Followed by CONTINUE. Press that, and
    all is well again.
    However, if I do the same thing on Chrome, no such message appears.
    I suspect it's something to do with end-to-end encryption. It only
    appears on my daughter's page, and although I have tried various
    supposed solutions on YouTube and elsewhere, I cannot prevent it
    happening each time.
