    I have never had to do more than the following:
    -Put the earbuds in pairing mode
    -Go to Settings-Bluetooth on Windows and tell it to search for devices

    I have paired a bluetooth speaker and earbuds, and have never had to
    enter a code.

    I beleive most computers sold today have blue tooth.



    It's Micky ..
    and he seems to be referring to an old Acer Win 7 / 8 Core I3.
    My old Vista-era Lenovo T500 doesn't have bluetooth ;
    my wife's Dell Win 7 Core I3 does have bluetooth.
