• copy & paste

From pinnerite@21:1/5 to All on Mon Feb 21 17:43:31 2022
I have just noticed that I cannot copy and paste from a Linux host to a virtual XP client under VirtualBox.

    I can with a virtual Win-10 client.

    Can it be done?

    TIA

Copying & pasting between host and guest usually requires guest tools /
guest additions running in the guest OS.

    I can with a virtual Win-10 client.

    Can it be done?

    I would expect so.

But I don't remember the last time I tried it to say with any certainty.

Guest tools were installed from the start. Makes no difference. :(
