    All, but especially for BobW ...what's going on with BeeBS ..saw the *. note about an SD card break ...but that was in April.. surely Ed had some sort of bacckup ? Whats the story?

    Last I heard (not that long ago) he still didn't have a replacement card for it. I imagine real life is probably getting in the way, since the weather has improved and he works outdoors?

    It's funny - I haven't opened the messages section for probably over a month. I did it this evening and, lo and behold, your message asking for me was posted just today :)

    Hope you're keeping well, Brian? I must dial into your board but I fear there will be 50 million messages unread when I do! If only I had a decent Viewdata terminal on the Acorn... or the laptop for that matter.

    Apple, Windows or Linux laptop? If so, Syncterm is great for viewdata :)

    I do have Syncterm but it is completely unusable as it crashes after a few seconds. I'm sure there's newer versions of it out but I'm not on a particularly recent MacOS so I'm reticent to report the issues to the Syncterm devs.

    Heh, what do you know? The new 1.9 release candidate works fine (so far, for the one connection I've tried it on). I logged into Night Owl and found I was 360 or so messages behind current :\

    Im still running 1.8 on my PC - I dont usually run the rc versions :)
