  • Packet Password Issue

    For the following log snippet:

    1:116/18 is my main Mystic system.
    1:261/20 is my system running SearchLight and ViaMail/SL 2.0.

    I have verified the same packet password on both setups, but am still getting this error message. I believe this was all working on A39, and nothing has changed configuration wise. Any thoughts?

    1:116/18 is my main Mystic system.
    1:261/20 is my system running SearchLight and ViaMail/SL 2.0.

    If you control both systems I would look at the password set at 261/20 and ensure it's only 8 or less chars and all uppercase

    Perhaps best to change it while testing this to something simple like HELLO then do the same on 116/18 and close and restart MIS to ensure changes are picked up. Then give it another go and let me know how you get on ;)

    I did, and both are the same -- 8 chars and all uppercase.

    Yeah. I changed it and mutil tossed it right into Mystic without any issues. odd.

    Yeah. I changed it and mutil tossed it right into Mystic without any issues. odd.

    I think tinker with things like length and case but as a rule I try to keep things upper case and also 7 chars to be sure.

    The restarts of MIS are always important when you make any changes too :)
