  • upgrade complete; did i do this 1 correctly?

    I upgraded from a46 to a47. Everything seemed to have went smoothly, except GY-BLAM BBS Lister broke - I assume because of new versions of Mplc... I'll hunt for a new version and think I know how to handle this one.

    I added the YN stuff to a few prompts... easy peasy... one question I have tho,





































































































    if I did it correctly.

    One of my events still had './fidopoll forced'..........
    so I manually changed it to './mis poll forced'..........

    Thats right, right? I supposed I'll watch the events and check for '0' responses... but asking on fsx seems like a smart way to doublecheck.

    I'm gonna test out marquee... and I did copy over the 132 columns ansi and ini stuff - how do I view, test or use that option? I still don't understand what it is - and haven't seen it live anywhere.

    What is the error you're getting from MPLC? It might be a simple fix.

    Well, you've seen the Marquee running here. :) I also have the message template





































































































    in place in Mystic for the 132 column setup. I've tried it here, but it doesn't





































































































    display correctly... I think it still needs some more work.

    Same here! I actually went into the source and removed the code block that was causing the compile error and did a ./mplc -ALL -- and it compiled, it works again, but I'd much rather have a proper update :)

    If you had the beta version Stizzed had been working on; he only releases the .mpx. You can simply default back to the orginal gy-blam, and compile the .mpl

    as it integrates both, with all fixes Stizzed made to properly connect to ports. If you want Stizzes updated .mpx, you can reach him at The Rock BBS ...

    Grab node2bbi .. it's the latest version of gy-blam made, that includes the ability to populate the ibbs list, and also *I think* download it.
    Its in my file/local area. If that doesn't work, yeah, might be system recs that were updated but the mod can be fixed.
