Yes. In detail, i wars wondering why no new messages appears in the
bases. I found mo* und tu* files in the echomail/in folder and open one
of them with "nano" - it starts with "PK" and i know it's a zip-file ;-) Mutil said in the logfile that it was unable to uncompress the files.
That is strange, your packets will be compressed using ZIP and sent as a standard arcmail bundle.. it is strange that some were not decompressing but others were. They are all treated the same way at the HUB prior to being sent to you. Hmm
i think i imported all messages and now it works as if nothing had happend.
OK, thanks for the heads up, perhaps just keep an eye on anything that seems amiss in the coming days and let me know if it continues.
just an other question ;-)
Yep
is it possible to resend a message? i wrote a message yesterday, in my
bbs it is shown as "local sent" but if i look at your bbs it's not there. in the echomail/out folder is an file which contains a link to an other file but this file doesn't exist.
OK a couple of things. If there is a link file but the file it is linking to
is not created then I suspect your compression ZIP is not installed. Check
that it is, or even better to start with remove ZIP as your compression
option when sending to 21:1/100 that will force it to send raw packets and
you can confirm you are getting out. But then (and it's late as I type this)
if there were a problem I would not be reading this post from you. Sigh :)
You can edit a sent message from within the message editor. You can change
the sent flag to no. And *i think* that will then set the message up to be exported again the next time your export function is called.
