I think this will qualify for DIY. I have an old 1991 Honda CR125
dirtbike that I found in a barn. It has been sitting there for at least 20 years. Other than being very dusty, the engine is stuck. I have
pulled the spark plug and dumped Marvel Mystery Oil in it to let it
soak. So far it is still stuck tight. Any DIY potions you guys use to unstick a piston from the bore?

MMO is the best potion for the job. On bikes I usually put it in a
higher gear and rock it back and forth to try to loosen things up.

That's a great idea! Thanks I will give that a try.

Seafoam down the spark plug holes and let it sit a while, then start rocking the crank to break the rings loose. Make sure that cam's wel lubed too in case the sieze is there and not in the rings.

I've heard of Marvel Mystery Oil used to unstuck seized engines, but not seafoam.

Just curious, did you ever get this repaired? and if so what worked for you?
