  • Interbbs Last Caller

    I've setup this Interbbs last caller and not seeing results that I am expecting. I placed the xq-ilc_send in my prelogin.mnu and so far when I run to display the downloaded info I see all 13 of bbs's currently listed but not mine.

    So my question is where are you guys putting the xq-ilc_send? Yes I did
    change the id to my fsx_dat id in all the files and I ran mplc with the
    change.

    Here's what I have set up:

    prelogin.mnu
    Command: (GX) Execute MPL program
    Data: xq-ilc_send

    main.mnu
    Option /L (/L) InterBBS Last Callers
    Command: (GY) Execute Python Module Data: xq-ilc_get
    Command: (GX) Execute MPL program Data: xq-ilc

    if the send mps is working?

    It does help. It told me that what I had setup is like yours. How do I know if the send mps is working?

    1) Check the nodex.log file to see if the script is executed. You shoud find something like:
    2019.01.30 21:01:15 MPL execute: /home/pi/mystic/scripts/xq-ilc_send.mpx

    2) Put the ID of a local message base, for testing only and check if you get a new message it that area, when you or someone else is logging in. If all its ok, revert the base if, back to fsx_dat.

    Beware that for invisible users, no message is sent to the echoarea.

    If you log in as an invisible user it won't send the data, so you'll need to log in visible, look in the message base that you configured to send the data to, it should have created a new message that looks like garbage lol but the origin line should show your bbs. If you see that, then it's creating the packet in the message base, and if you make it use a base that is the echo in fsx other bbses use for the same app, then other bbses will pick that up too.

    My bbs is on the fsx ibbs last callers so when you log in visibly and it
    works i should be able to see it in my ibbs last callers page.

    I'm sure there is a better explanation for this but it's my 2 cents worth
    lol. Hope it makes sense.

    You are logging in as a visible user?

    Yes, I logged in as myself and was visible and also logged in with on of my regular user account I created. No message was created.
