Suggest you chat with Janis as to what settings you need for a given file area.

It also depends on the level of 'private', i.e.,
Hidden for all callers
Hidden for anyone using Web services
Hidden from file lists such as ALLFILES and NEWFILES.

In mbse I just put a very high cotrol level for the first two and have for the last one excluded area
by not having them in the list of areas to report.

Some areas are only visable for specific nets and therefore downloadable etc.

BBBS is as controllable I would say. but everything is done by text files. I keep the irc and other stuff for myself as it is too easy for user to cause issues
