  • echos for Telegram?

    Hello Marc,

    Could you oblige with having AUDIO echo available via Telegram
    for smartphone/tablet users?

    You may or may have not heard, but a sysop has built a fine portal
    to make fidonet echos accessible to smartphone/tablet users by
    simply having a Telegram account.

    There is no concern for spam or uninvited users since any
    participant on the Telegram side would be approved first.

    Although Telegram is technically a chat program, the portal
    maintains quoting of a Reply, and identifies the originating fidonet
    BBS where the portal operates.

    I believe that AUDIO is a good fit for outreach to smartphone/tablet
    users. And Telegram makes participation very easy for folks to join
    the fidonet community.

    My uplink is doing some tracing, but I _suspect_ there's a "hole in the bucket" somewhere along the line between 1:261/38 and Z2. I just replied to your NetMail as well.

    In such interesting cases, you can use my Ping robot. Besides the usual functions, it has some additional features that are useful in a similar situation.
