The Prime Minister of Finland believes that the EU should grow to around 40 countries. There are currently 27 members. He has a point. A larger alliance would have more strength against the giants the US, China, and India. Stubb would also like to see Canada become a member of the EU. A fine idea, but Canada would have to close the door to poison-contaminated food from the US. For Canada, it would be good protection against a hostile US.
