That the US is a deeply racist country becomes clear when the owners' skin color is an important point. Redemption Bank is the only bank in the Rockies founded and led by African Americans.
If the color of the leadership is so important, then you really live in an apartheid country.
Apparently, they don't realize in the US that it's deeply racist to look at companies that way.
Why should I care what color the owners are?
In a financial publication, I mainly want to see how the company is doing and what the expectations are.
In my opinion, AP's article only shows that they primarily look at skin color and only then at everything else. The enormous emphasis on the fact that the owners are African Americans is absurd.
Just try treating an organization led solely by white people that way. Can you imagine the problems you'd face if you proudly and with the same emphasis stated that this company was founded and led only by white people?
