From Rick Smith@1:3634/12 to All on Tue Mar 10 00:38:35 2020
    Greetings,

Someone sent me a note about their openXP help page and it doesn't seem to offer
detailed enough help for setup? Anyone familiar with this? I am just trying to
setup a point off my own mystic BBS and cannot seem to find even mystic docs for
this, openXP errors at setup for nodelist ( i thought to start there) so I haven't got very far..

    Regards,

    Nitro

Hi Rick, I am not sure which "openXP help page" you are referring to, but
for help on setting up OpenXP the best source of help would be:

The Quick Start Guide (oxpguide.pdf), from here: https://openxp.uk/doc/

    Hope this helps!

The nodelist setup is *very* particular wrt this part:

     Request
     File lists..
     File Areas..

     Rebuild Index
    Ĵ
     Statistics
     Search
     Find @N

Then, after selecting ">NEW<", the screen should be made to look like this:

Grab yourself a copy of oxpguide.pdf as August suggested, print it out and work your way through it from the beginning, step by step.

    Martin

I wouldn't really advise enabling that particular option but, of course, that's just a matter of personal preference :)

I forget what the defaults are. But it makes sense that the "Delete.." is probably OFF normally, and I only ticked it ON when I gained confidence that the processing was going well - atleast for the last two weeks! LOL
