    By what method is a nodelist compressed?

    All zip methods I try result in no file or a 0 byte file.

    Is it me or am I having an especially hard time with things?

    The weekly nodelist is compressed with zip. Last weeks (the current) nodelist is in a zip file called NODELIST.Z08. A command like..

    "unzip NODELIST.Z08" will unzip the nodelist within and you should have NODELIST.108 after that.

    I can't do a command line unzip right now.

    The software eludes me.

    Wish it didn't.

    I would be getting somewhere with OpenXP.

    You can get the 32bit version of zip and unzip here at the File Commander website. The filename is zip300xn.zip for zip and unz600xn.exe for unzip.

    I just downloaded there using lynx so it should work from any browser.
