    I know this is off-topic, but it is interesting to notice that these guys were able to go past the Fido2Telebot

    Did their msgs get to the fido side? I haven't checked. If their posts did not make it, then the fido2telebot is doing its job.

    No they didn't...

    And I erased and banned the unwelcome bot's existence, and all
    its posts on the Tg side.

    Above for you is not above for everyone else. It'd help if you named
    who you think should be banned, which really means nothing on fidonet
    since you can join any BBS and post, potentially, or even run your own.

    Nah.. the issue only pertained to Tg users. The Fido-side was
    protected. Fido can't make that claim if an annoying user
    enters the network from somewhere! ;) And, since that "user"
    has now been deleted and banned, there is no record of the
    attempt, and all their nuisance posts (I think it was just 2)
    have been deleted from the Tg side too - nice and clean for
    everyone on the Tg side. :D

    The only point proven is that I wasn't aware that the spammer was being filtered out of Fido.

    Its also just this weird halfassed messenger thing anyway, the only ones using it for this purpose are those "because they can". Nobody akin to BBS users.
