    You mean since it originated via Telegram that the 2 dots would be interpreted as command symbols? Not likely. The 2 dots arrived fine at this bbs.

    I wonder if Thunberbird is trying to re-interpret them.

    No, it works both ways.

    If the message has two dots in msgbase, JamNNTPd strips one.
    If you enter two dots to the message, JamNNTPd adds one.


    IE: "write three dots" ... and "will see two" ?

    I only see two via nntp.

    Message entered and read by JamNNTPD, no problems. :D
