    Just wondering 'cuz there are two apps there: Telegram (last updated a few days
    ago, and Telegram-X (last update in May'20)

    It seems not many people are happy with some quirks in Telegram-X.

    I never tried. I don't care for landscape mode on phones and tablets for message/email etc. Actually, I don't use lanscape at all on the devices if I can help it.
